Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Time
Orders are process within 24 – 48 business hours. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday, will be processed on the next business day. Guaranteed delivery times are for the amount of time the package spent in transit. That is, packaging and pulling of inventory can take time, and is not included in the determination of how long a package was in shipment. Selecting Expedited shipping like FedEx Next Day Air or FedEx 2nd Day, causes your order to be flagged. Wholesale Power Tools will do everything they can to get your shipment out the same day. Expedited orders must be received by 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, in order to ship out that same day. Wholesale Power Tools will contact customer if your order was unable to ship out that day. Wholesale Power Tools uses FedEx as the primary shipper. Packages under 140 pounds and that meet certain size requirements can be shipped via FedEx. Deliveries do require a signature, unless you waive the signature option. Wholesale Power Tools will not be held responsible for any loss or stolen packages if signature requirement is waived. The customer will be held responsible for additional charges if changes are done during transit. Any claims regarding your shipment must be filed with Wholesale Power Tools within 3 business days of delivery. Claims filed after the 3 days may not be honored.

Free Shipping only applies to the lower 48 States.

Should your items arrive damaged, it is important that you refuse the shipment and indicate to the driver that the shipment is damaged. And contact us immediately at 1.866.462.3581.

Truck Deliveries and Large Items
Wholesale Power Tools stocks many industrial and commercial grade tools and accessories. Some of these items are large, heavy and /or bulky (Generators, Pressure Washer, Table Saws, Air Compressors, etc). These items may not be able to be shipped via regular ground such as FedEx and will require a Freight or Truck delivery. Items weighing over 2000 pounds, bulky, and/or oversized machines may not be able to delivery via lift-gate. Wholesale Power Tool is not responsible for arranging special delivery for these orders or paying additional freight associated with the order.

Truck Line – Commercial/ Business Addresses
When shipping to a business please indicates whether Lift-Gate service is needed or not. If No Lift-Gate is selected at the time of order, customer will be responsible for removing/ offloading the order from the truck. If your site has a forklift or loading dock, you may wish to choose the no Lift-Gate option. If Lift-Gate is required at the time of delivery but was not selected during checkout of the order, you will be responsible for any additional charges. If you needed to change the shipping address during transit, you will be responsible for any additional charges by the freight carrier.

Truck Line – Residential Address
Truck carriers charge additional fees for delivering to residential address. This is in part due to the necessity of loading shipments to smaller trucks that are better to navigate residential areas. While your specific driveway may have plenty of room to navigate, roads around you may require this extra handling. Delivery is to curbside (base) of your driveway or off the trucks lift-gate. The customer is responsible for moving the product from the truck. Wholesale Power Tools is not responsible for delivery if the product cannot be unloaded from the truck. Wholesale Power Tools cannot be responsible for refunds regarding the freight, and the customer will be held responsible for any fees will be responsible for any fees necessary for a 2nd delivery attempt.

International Shipping
For international orders, please contact us at 1.866.462.3581 or email sales@wholesalepowertools.com, for freight quote and delivery information. International orders weighing 140 pounds or less can be shipped FedEx or United States Postal Service (USPS). Not all packages shipped USPS offer tracking services once it leaves United States. Should you choose USPS as the method of shipping; Wholesale Power Tools will not be responsible to provide any tracking services, held accountable for any loss/damage package(s).

International Tax, Tariffs and Duties
We do not add international tax, tariffs or duties to orders. It is solely your responsibility to pay these fees, if applicable.

Notice: All items on this website are subject to the restriction of large, heavy and/or bulky items. All Free Freight promotions have this limitation. While we attempt to be accurate at all times, we may discover due to size or weight constraints that we cannot effectively ship products via regular ground transportation and Freight Delivery may be necessary. Some items may also require freight shipment due to damage or packaging concerns.

Delays due to Acts of God, weather or other unusual circumstances are not refundable.

Return Policy

At Wholesale Power Tools, we stand behind our products. If by any chance your order must be returned please see below some information that will help you with the returning process.
No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Please call our toll free number 1.866.462.3581 and speak with a customer solutions representative to obtain RMA # and shipping instructions. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Unopened Merchandise

You may return any "unopened" products and accessories within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping charges). Simply return the item to us, shipping prepaid & using the most convenient shipping method available to you. Some products include free shipping, so if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.

Opened Merchandise

"Opened" products and accessories can be returned within 30 days of delivery*, but will be subject to a 25% restocking fee to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. Simply return the item to us, shipping prepaid & using the most convenient shipping method available to you. Some products include free shipping, so if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. Opened returns must be in salable condition with original materials and packaging.

Factory Reconditioned Makita Tools

Factory Reconditioned Makita tools cannot be returned or replaced, but are covered by the same warranty as new Makita items.

* Engine powered equipment cannot be returned once it has been gassed or oiled due to federal shipping regulations. If the product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty

Factory Direct Items

These items are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer and may be returned with approval from the manufacturer. If approved, you may be responsible for round trip shipping costs, as some products include free shipping, yet the cost of shipping may be included in the retail price. You may also be responsible for a restocking fee of up to 25%.


All Generac products are non-refundable and non-returnable. All items that are purchased must be confirmed by the customer's electrician and/or authorized installer. Any items received damaged should be refused at the time of delivery and noted on the BOL. Any item that becomes defective or need servicing must go through the Generac warranty protocol. An authorized service dealer is to be contacted and they will service based on warranty parameters through Generac's Tech service/ Warranty guidelines. Wholesale Power Tools makes no warranty and accepts no responsibility for suitability of any materials of Generac. The purchase and use of any supplied materials of Generac constitutes acceptance and understanding of this disclaimer.

Cancelled Orders

An order that has shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order which has already been shipped, you will be responsible for both the outbound and return shipping costs.

Built-to-Order Items

There are no returns allowed for products which have been specially built for you and shipped by the manufacturer. These items are not routinely stocked at our warehouse and therefore cannot be returned.

Installed Items

Once an item has been installed it cannot be returned. Any damage due to improper installation is the responsibility of you or your installer. A warranty claim can be made, but it is up to the discretion of the manufacturer if they will cover any costs associated with an incorrect installation.

Damaged Products

You must take the time to inspect the goods before you sign the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you sign the delivery receipt without inspecting the shipment you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and arranging for a repair or return of the damaged goods. Concealed damage claims must be reported immediately.

Suspect Damage

On occasion, the outer carton may look damaged, but the product inside the box is perfectly fine. If you suspect concealed damage, notate "Possible Freight Damage" on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This way, if you discover later that the product is damaged, the remedy of a freight claim is less of a hassle.

Obvious Damage

Do not sign for damaged products. If your product arrives damaged, please (a) REFUSE DELIVERY and (b) Call us immediately so we can process the appropriate claims and coordinate an exchange for you.

Defective Products

We encourage you to test your product within 15 days of receipt so we can quickly remedy any mechanical problems. If you think your product is defective, don't worry.

In most cases, it's a simple issue that can be resolved over the phone. You are also welcome to contact the manufacturer's customer service departments. They have expert technicians standing by to help solve your issue. Please have your model number and serial number available for fastest service.
